SJOERDSMA Richard

Dr. Richard Sjoerdsma is a long-time member of NATS and, since 2001, Editor in Chief of the Journal of Singing. His doctoral degree is in music history and literature from The Ohio State University, and he retains a strong interest and activity in musicological research. He has attended several congresses of the BDG as journal editor, and has chaired similar seminars on writing at ICVT conferences in Vancouver, Paris, and Stockholm.

This session is open to all who are interested in or directly involved (editors/publishers/writers)  in  writing for journals, magazines, newsletters, and other publications that deal with the act and art of singing. Hosted by Dr. Richard Sjoerdsma, Editor in Chief of the Journal of Singing, it will be an open forum to discuss and share challenges and opportunities of current practice and new technology.
